For many pharmaceutical companies it is becoming more and more clear that the development of new and original molecules is quite difficult task requiring huge financial costs. An alternative approach involves the use of nanotechnology to improve the effectiveness of traditional medicines. Targeted delivery, high stability, prolonged release and many other advantages can be achieved with the use of nanostructured drugs, whose effectiveness is many times greater than their molecular counterparts.

The activity of the group is focused on preparation of nano-drugs for various applications, studying their activity and toxicity, and conducting pre-clinical studies.
