In 2018, Sergei graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of the Russian State Pedagogical University and joined the «Experimental Oncology and Immunology» team. In 2020, he defended his master's thesis on the mechanisms of tumor cells death when exposed to combinations of nanoparticles and organic components and received a patent on the topic of research. Since September 2020, Sergey continues his project at the SCAMT graduate school.
