Markozashvili Diana is graduated from St. Petersburg State University, the Faculty of Biology, Department of Genetics. In 2015, she has finalized her postgraduate studies in "Oncology: Biology - Medicine - Health" at the University of Paris-Saclay (France) and has received a Ph.D. degree in molecular and cellular biology. After coming back to Russia, Diana worked at the Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University in the field of synthetic biology. Later, she joined the group of Molecular Robotics at SCAMT (ITMO), where she is currently developing DNA nanomachines for disease diagnosis and treatment. Diana is a multipotentialite. In addition to the science background, Diana has skills in photography and design: she is actively involved in projects between science and art.
