Vladimir Vinogradov was born in Ivanovo, Russia, in 1985. He received a MS Degree in Materials Science from the Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology in 2007. He was awarded a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Institute of Solution Chemistry of RAS (with Professor Alexander V. Agafonov) in 2010. Thereafter, he did a postdoctoral training in materials science in Prof. David Avnir's research group at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2014, he joined ITMO University, where he is currently the Head of the International Institute of Solution Chemistry of Advanced Materials & Technologies.
