E. Krivoshapkina received her M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Syktyvkar State University in 2006. She was awarded a PhD in Solid State Chemistry from the Saint-Petersburg State Institute of Technology in 2012. In 2004-2016 she worked as a researcher in the Institute of Chemistry KSC UB RAS in the Laboratory of physico-chemical methods of investigation. She passed postdoctoral trainings in materials science and catalysis in Dr. A. Vedyagin's research group at the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS. In 2017, she joined ITMO University, where she is currently the Head of the Food Bio-Nanotechnology group. She is a member of the International Sol-Gel Society and Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society.
