Infochemistry of self-organizing systems

With an interdisciplinary approach to various problems, our group uses chemistry, mathematics and biology to not only solve complex scientific issues, but also guide next generation scientific development. Here at the ITMO University, one of the best IT-Technology universities in the world, the Infochemistry group was formed with the view of using information technology to solve interdisciplinary problems. Infochemistry – is an experimental area of chemistry that deals with information storage and processing on a molecular level. In our group, we are working on different projects ranging from synthetic cell and biofilm programming to smart dynamic materials and systems for personal diagnostics, study, and modeling nonlinear chemical processes.
